Applications

Applications

A lighting design project can be broad, as in the case of a Master Plan for a city which would include multiple applications within the city such as streets, parks, and downtown city centers. Alternatively, a project could be limited to one particular application within the city such as a sport court in a city park. The common element in any lighting project is what are the applications-what spaces are being lit, for whom, and what are the baseline criteria for function, performance and maintenance.

GBL’s partner portfolio includes a broad group of manufacturers with products for every outdoor public-sector application. For situations that may require more unique products, GBL works with its partners on ‘tailored lighting’ solutions, that are modified versions of standard products, or in some cases custom luminaires.
